Early Life, Family, Interests
Keith Van Horn was born to his parents Ken and May Van Horn in Fullerton, CA on October 23, 1975. He attended Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, California where he went on to become an all-state basketball player and attend the University of Utah on a basketball scholarship. He and his family now live in Colorado and he has 4 grown children and several grandchildren. Some of Keith's interests include travel, fly fishing, boating, cross country skiing, making wine and music.
Keith Van Horn Basketball - College Career
Keith played for the University of Utah from 1993-1997 under famed coach Rick Majerus where he went on to be a consensus First Team All-American and finished his career at Utah as all-time scoring leader in school and conference history. He led Utah to three NCAA Division I top 25 finishes, including their highest ranking ever in school history (#2). Keith received the 1997 ESPN Men’s College Basketball Player of the Year Award. Keith Van Horn Basketball - NBA Career
Keith Van Horn was selected with the second pick of the 1997 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and was traded to the New Jersey Nets on a draft night trade. He played for the Nets from 1997–2002, leading the Nets in scoring in the 1997–1998 and 1998–1999 seasons where he averaged over 20 points per game and ranked fifth in the NBA in scoring in the 1999 season. He also played for the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks and participated in two NBA Finals. Read more about Keith’s NBA career here.

Youth Coaching:
Keith spent 10 years coaching youth basketball in Colorado, sharing all of his basketball experiences with the next generation. During his time coaching, he had the opportunity to develop some of the top rising stars in the United States including:
